State support

The state has high hopes for the robotization of production, so it is taking a number of measures to accelerate it:

Direct subsidies: reimburse up to 70-90% of R&D costs and compensate for discounts to buyers to reduce prices.
Subsidies to customers: compensate 20% of the cost of purchasing and implementing robots, as well as provide the possibility of preferential loans for the purchase of robots.
Tax benefits: reduce income tax at a rate of 3% (instead of 25%), as well as introduce preferential rates for insurance premiums by analogy with the IT industry and benefits in the SEZ.

There is also a task to create about 30 Regional Centers for the Development of Robotics, which will be engaged in the development of solutions, technological audit of enterprises and personnel training. In 2026, the Federal Competence Center plans to help 300 Russian companies with robotization.

Cost and payback: the average payback period is from 2.5 to 6 years, and the high key rate makes purchase loans very expensive.
