The annual professional competition in the welding industry is open to participants from Russia, the EAEU, the CIS and other friendly countries and will be held again this year from October 7-10 as part of the Weldex exhibition of welding materials, equipment and technologies.&nbsp;The goal of the Weldex Russian Welding Cup championship is to promote the prestige of the welding profession, to identify and reward both welding specialists and students of welding specialties who possess outstanding professional knowledge and skills.&nbsp;The Weldex Russian Welding Cup Championship is held in two categories:&nbsp;// "Professional Welder" (working at enterprises of any form of ownership in any industry, holding a valid certificate in the profession of welder); // "Welder student" (students of secondary and higher educational institutions studying the professions of welder and welding engineer). For each category there are three nominations:&nbsp;// Manual arc welding (MMA); // Manual argon arc welding with a non-consumable electrode in a protective gas environment (TIG); // Semi-automatic welding with consumable wire in a protective gas environment (MIG/MAG). <img src="https://cdn.itegroupnews.com/AVO_0254612_3a57e69da3.webp" alt="AVO0254612.webp">&nbsp;Each participant in the competition will have to participate in two mandatory stages: checking theoretical professional knowledge using test cards and performing welding tests. It is worth noting separately that the time limit limits the possible number of participants in each nomination.&nbsp;The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on October 9 as part of the business program of the International Exhibition of Welding Materials, Equipment and Technologies Weldex-2025. All participants of the Championship receive a certificate, and the winners in each of the three nominations (MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG) of each category are awarded a cup and a diploma, as well as valuable gifts.&nbsp;We invite enterprises, organizations and educational institutions interested in the participation of their representatives in the Championship to submit applications.
